| Flux chamber. The flux chamber is made of a 3 mm acrylic plate PMMA or black PVC and has a stirring device mounted on a lid of 10 mm thickness.

| There is a ø250 mm hole for the stirring device on top of the chamber.
A ø6 mm silicone sealing ring is milled down into the lid to seal the hole. On top of the lid a smaller removeable acrylic lid is placed. This lid holds the motor housing. The stirring device is driven by a 12 Volt or a 24 Volt DC MINIMOTOR planetary gearhead motor with a fixed speed of rotation. 12 pcs. of ø10 x 4 mm Neodyne magnets takes care of the power transmission from motor to the stirring device. Water samples are taken through 2 ø8 mm PVC hoses with a
syringe fitting mounted on the end of each hose. The hoses are connected with the inside of the chamber through 2 ø6 mm holes placed near the top on the side of the chamber. |
