- Application:
- The corer is designed
for taking samples in sandy sediment featuring detachable
core tube with a maximum length of 6 metres. Up to 12 metres
in soft or muddy sediment. (Optional).
Can also be used as a piston corer. (Optional).

The corer is fully made
of AISI 316 stainless steel. Finish: Electro polish.
On top are placed 6
steering fins and below 2 pcs lead weights, 20 kg each. (Standard
delivery). Room for a total of 5 lead weigths.
For very deep
penetration you must order an extended model, 13.540 B. The
body is higher, allowing a higher number of weights (max. 10 pcs.) and can
be adjusted to suit your needs.
- Optional:
- With coupling device(s)
and tube(s) you can extend the core up to a maximum of 12
metres. (Segments of 1,5 or 3,0 metres each), ensuring to suit all
your needs. This feature makes an easier and more compact
transportation of the equipment. Core tubes and liners
can be supplied at any length up to 6 metres.
