Application:

This multi corer is used for sampling in chemical, geo-chemical and biological applications. The coring head is hydraulically damped to ensure undisturbed samples. Quick change of tubes assures a high operational speed.

The rack is designed for a specific diameter of tube.

Non return flap

The sediment samples are secured in two ways:

• Each tube has a non-return flap, so the vacuum will hold the sediment sample
• The spring loaded plates, see next photo, are pressed in position under the corer tubes as soon as the corer is retrieved
• 100 mm tubes has a spring-loaded lid on top.

Ensures a quick replacement for the sample tubes.

The unit has a hydraulic damper to reduce the shock wave. The speed can be adjusted.
