71.500 - Multi Corer - 4 x 100 mm:

Application:
This multi corer is used for sampling in chemical, geo-chemical and biological applications. Quick change of tubes assures a high operation speed.

Operating depths:
Full oceanographic depth but recommended for shallow water because of its small footprint. Maximum stability can be achieved by adding the extension kit 71.500 EXT, more details here.

Capacity:
4 core tubes, PMMA, Ø100/95 mm, length 500 mm.
Penetration depth: 400 mm, approx.

Damper:
The multi corer comes with a hydraulic damper for a smooth penetration, reducing the shock wave.

Bottom frame: 79 x 79 cm.

Adjustable penetration depth:
Stepless adjustment (optional). The stepless adjustment bracket order number 70.006, can be mounted on the centre of the corer, so the user can predetermine for a specific depth of penetration.

With max. qty. of weights (16 pcs): 310 kg.
With max. qty. of weights (16 pcs) and the extension kit: 355 kg.

Accessories:
Sample ejection aggregate (extruder) 70.410 for ejecting the sample and bungs and caps for securing the samples while it's in its tube, can be provided as well.

For a max. depth of 500 m it is possible adding our camera and light option (requires the 71.500 BR bracket).

Adjustable penetration depth:
It is possible to mount the multi corer in a frame with adjustable legs.

71.500 EXT - Extension kit:

The 71.500 multi corer is recommended for shallow water only because of its small foot print. Adding the extension kit increases foot print to approx. 140 x 140 cm making it feasible for sampling on higher depth. More details here.
